Tongilmoodo is a unified Korean martial arts system that blends discipline, philosophy, and integrated combat skills. Training is practical and respectful—clean basics, mindful movement, and field-ready self-defense that you can actually use.

Program Overview

We train unity in action—striking, throws, joint-locks, grappling, forms (hyeong), and breathwork. Sessions follow a steady, confidence-building flow: fundamentals → partner drills → scenario practice → optional supervised sparring. You’ll always know what you’re working on and why it matters.

What You’ll Learn

Posture, guard & footwork for balanced, calm stance
Linear & circular strikes (hands, elbows, low kicks) with defense
Hosinsul: practical self-defense—grips, escapes, joint-locks
Throws & takedowns, ukemi (safe breakfalls), and ground control
Forms (Hyeong): timing, rhythm, body-mechanics & focus
Mindfulness: breathwork, etiquette, and decisions under pressure

Session Flow

Mobility warm-up → technical blocks (forms / self-defense / grappling) → partner scenarios → short conditioning finisher → cooldown & reflection. Sparring is optional and starts only when you’re ready, always with protective gear and coaching oversight.

Safety & Gear

Bring gloves, wraps, and a mouthguard. For grappling: clean gi or rashguard & shorts; shin guards for kick sections. We keep strict hygiene and a partner-first culture so everyone can train hard and go home safe.
